Editors: The following "filler" items are designed for use in your new-car or auto-show special sections
Recessed Spare
Dodge Darts for '67 will again have the spare tire located in a space-saving recessed trunk well.
All new Darts will feature long, level deck lids for maximum trunk volume.
Family Resemblance
New Dodge Darts will take on a family resemblance to other models of the Dodge line with delta-shaped tail lamps.
Neater Floor Appearance
A new method of seat mounting, with risers stamped on the floor pan instead of mounted on separate assemblies, makes for neater floor appearance in '67 Dodge Darts.
Safety-Oriented Instrument Panel
Dart's safety-oriented instrument panel has a flat face recessed into an overall panel contour, with the instrument panel recessed even further and tilted toward the driver's line of sight.
Suede-Finish Paint
To minimize reflections, exposed panel sheet metal on '67 Darts is covered in suede-finish paint. Paint is color-keyed to interior trim.
Scraped But Not Scratched
New air-tempered glass backlights on Dart convertibles can be scraped free of snow and ice with less chance of scratching the glass.
Concave Backlight
Curved sideglass and a wide, sweeping concave backlight accent the roof structure on the '67 Dodge Darts.
Eighteen Colors
There are 18 exterior colors available for the '67 Dart.
Six two-tones are offered for the Dart series, eight for the Dart 270 sedans, and 17 for Dart 270 and GT Hardtops.
Less Splash-back
The fuel filter tube [Ed: I think they mean "filler tube"] on 1967 Darts has had its diameter increased to two inches to minimize splash-back and over-flow during fueling.
Interior Colors
Three interior colors will be available for 1967 Dodge Darts. These are: blue, tan and red.
Better Heater
Heaters on 1967 Dodge Darts will be equipped with a revised left duct that improves air distribution.
Safety Door Handle
Dart has a new inside door handle that is easier to operate and safer than any previous design. The handle resembles a safety lap belt buckle and operates in much the same manner.
Dart's new door latch is stronger than the one used last year, which exceeded GSA load requirements and was one of the best in the industry.
